Deep thought of the day: Golf is basically two marginally related minigames thrown together. A bit like if football required a round of Lawn Bowling once the ball enters the goal area.

Thanksgiving Squirrel

This Thanksgiving squirrel is thankful that my dogs cannot climb trees. As Toebzilla and Joie barked from different points around the tree, this little guy scooched around to hide behind the trunk.

EDIT: So, who know?  #thanksgivingsquirrel is apparently a thing on Instagram.  Not a big thing, but there's more than a few postings with this hashtag, going back to 2013; with the first post resembling a bigfoot photo.  And, there's even some activity on twitter.  Fun!

No one knows why humans have chins? Hmm, maybe I do...

"Humans are the only animal that have a chin, and no one knows why."  Well, I think know why.  Chins acts as a third hand to hold things against your chest when your actual hands are full or otherwise occupied in some sort of tool. Chins are very important for rudimentary tool use, or just lugging things from one place over short distances when your hands are full.

Just a reminder - Han also shot first in Empire Strikes Back (against Vader himself)! Seems like a good habit for a swashbuckler.

Technically, "shoot first" just means you shot before something happened, not necessarily both parties taking a shot. "Shoot first, ask questions later."
