San Diego Zoo

This zoo is indeed big with lots of animals to see.  Alice and I spent a day here, but it seems like two days is more practical to see everything at a reasonable pace and planning.  We missed a lot of the famous animals, unfortunately. The zoo is big and incredible.

OMG! Meteor

 

Allie and I spotted this meteor while driving with headlights on while going down a well-lit road.  It was a nice surprise.  Of course, the meteor was a lot brighter to our eyes and what the camera actually saw.

Toby has passed

With Alice and Joie. Toby loved playing fetch on the stairs, barking at critters on TV, running on grass, long walks and hikes in new places, smelling the flowers (literally), lounging on our laps, and so much more. You are and will always be missed. (Original post/backup link)

It's not often...

It's not often that Allie and I talk about a movie we've seen at the theater for days afterwards, but that's exactly what's happening for both movies Top Gun: Maverick and Elvis. Maverick is a fun thrill ride and Elvis is a fascinating biopic. (From facebook post in July.2022.)
