How are there Flat Earthers in Denver, of all places‽

When I first moved to the Denver area, the location struck me as a place with geology and weather that would serve as its own evidence against flat Earth concepts, with a mountain range that extends beyond the horizon in two directions, no visibility beyond the horizon when looking Eastward (even when looking over the Great Plains from Front Range peaks), and morning and evening Sunlight that illuminates the bottom of low altitude clouds. Imagine my surprise when I found out this is a hotbed for Flat Earth nonsense. Like, do any of these people spend any time outside enjoying the beauty of the region‽

Trail Walking with a Say's Phoebe

 

A bird that appears to be a Say's Phoebe was jumping from fence post to fence post ahead of me and Joie while we walked, until it finally flew onto a nearby bush, on a Mid-Spring morning. It kind of seemed like they wanted us to follow, but maybe they were just keeping an eye out for any bugs we might stir up as we walked along the trail, a behavior for which Flycatchers are known.

3DEXPERIENCE World 2026

January 31 - February 4, 2026, 3DEXPERIENCE World 2026 was a great experience (dare I say "3DEXPERIENCE") and gathering in Houston, TX at George R. Brown Convention Center, with awesome Keynote speakers like Jensen Huang and Pablos Holman.  Some visited locations include Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse, Joystix Games, Cidercade, NASA Johnson Space Center, and Walker Street Kitchen.
