I made this mini-painting during the downtime of the
Persian Gulf War in 1991 when I was working in a shoe store in a #mall. No one did any shopping for months, so I was left without anything to do for hours at a time. I made this during my unsupervised periods. It is originally shoe polish on scrap card stock. The title is
Frienemies and was inspired by the few teenage girls still running around the mall at the time. I was 17 or 18 at the time.
